OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
edition) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General Assembly of
1949, an Act known as Chapter 120, was to be submitted to
the voters of the Town of Willards, Wicomico County, Mary-
land, for their adoption or rejection under the provisions
thereof, said Act being:
An Act to extend the corporate limits of the Town of
Willards, and providing for the marking of the new
boundary lines of said Town, and providing for a
referendum by the qualified voters to determine
whether or not this Act shall continue to be effective.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY, That no petition in writing was
presented to the Commissioners of Willards on or before
June 15, 1949, requesting a referendum, no referendum was
held and the Act remains in full force and effect as provided
by Chapter 120 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1949.
