SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, THAT THIS ACT IS
HEREBY DECLARED TO BE AN ACUTE EMERGENCY
AND NECESSARY FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESERVA-
TION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY ^ND
HAVING BEEN PASSED BY A YEA AND NAY VOTE,
SUPPORTED BY THREE-FIFTHS OF ALL THE MEM-
BERS ELECTED TO EACH OF THE TWO HOUSES OF
THE GENERAY ASSEMBLY, THE SAME SHALL TAKE
EFFCT FROM THE DATE OF ITS PASSAGE.

CHAPTER 106
(House Bill 171)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Anne Arundel
County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, said new section to be
known as Section 274A, to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 274 of said Code and to be under the new sub-title
"Districts", describing the metes and bounds of the eight
districts of Anne Arundel County.

WHEREAS, the metes and bounds of the eight Districts of
Anne Arundel County have never been described, thereby
leaving the precise boundaries of these Districts uncertain;
and

WHEREAS, this uncertainty causes confusion in the applica-
tion of the continuous assessment laws since there are no
established boundaries which assessors can follow in the as-
sessment of property; and

WHEREAS, the lack of any definite specifications as to
boundaries of the several Districts also causes practical dif-
