issued more than fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the
seizure, said judge must cause it to be restored to the person
from whom it was taken; but if it appears that the property
taken is the same as that described in the warrant and that
there is probable cause for believing the existence of the
grounds on which the warrant was issued, then said judge
shall order the same retained in the custody of the person
seizing it or to be otherwise disposed of according to law.
SEC. 2. And be. it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1950.

CHAPTER 82
(House Bill 45)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Crimes and
Punishments", to be under sub-title "Contraceptives—Sale
by Vending Machines", said new section to be known as
Section 43B and to follow immediately after Section 43A
of said Article, making it unlawful to sell or offer for sale
any Contraceptive or Contraceptive device by means of a
vending machine or other automatic device.
WHEREAS, vending machines are being placed in rest rooms
at service stations and rest rooms and elsewhere for the sale
of contraceptives and contraceptive devices where they are
conspicuously brought to the attention of the youth of the
State with the purpose of encouraging their purchase and
use; and
WHEREAS, such conditions are not conducive to morality;
therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments", to be under sub-title "Con-
traceptives—Sale by Vending Machines", said new section to
be known as Section 43B to follow immediately after Section
43A of said Article and to read as follows:
