supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 25)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
249 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Commissioners of Phar-
macy", relating to the salaries and expenses of the Board
of Pharmacy and of its secretary-treasurer and to the reve-
nues and reports of said Board.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 249 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Com-
missioners of Pharmacy", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
249. The salaries of said Board except the secretary-treas-
urer shall be [fifty dollars per annum to each member]
$10.00 per day for each member, for each and every day upon
which he is engaged upon the duties of the Board and all
legitimate expenses incurred in the discharge of his official
duties. The [secretary] secretary-treasurer of the said
Board shall receive [an additional] a salary to be fixed by
the Board, and not to exceed [two hundred dollars per
annum seven hundred and fifty dollars per annum; and all
legitimate expenses incurred in the discharge of his official
duties. He shall pay to the [treasurer at each meeting, or
whenever the Board may direct] comptroller such funds of
the Board as may be in his possession, and take [the treas-
urer's] a receipt therefor. In its annual report to the Gov-
ernor, the Board shall render an account of all moneys re-
ceived and expenses incurred pursuant herewith, and the
[secretary and treasurer] secretary-treasurer shall give such
bond as the Board shall from time to time direct.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1950.
