House Bill No. 2—By Mr. Whitworth:
A Bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title 'Elections',
said new section to be known as Section 16A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 16 of said Article, and to be under the sub-
title Registration', to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 17 and 18 of said Article and sub-title and to add a new
section to said Article, to be known as Section 186A, said new
section to follow immediately after Section 186 of said Article and
to be under the sub-title 'Offenses', providing that no person who
is or who professes to be a member or adherent of the Communist
Party or of any party or group having similar purposes and
objectives, and that no person who holds or professes such purposes
and objectives shall be entitled to register as a voter for any
general, primary or special election in this State or to hold such
registration once obtained; providing further for the enforcement
of this provision and providing penalties for any person violating
these provisions."

Judiciary.
House Bill No. 3—By Mr. Buffington :
A Bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title 'Elections',
said new section to be known as Section 51A, to follow immediately
after Section 51 of said Article, and to be under the sub-title
'Nominations and Primaries', changing the day for the primary
elections to be held by the political parties during the month of
September, 1950."

Elections.
House Bill No. 4—By Mr. Buffington :
A Bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title 'Elections',
said new section to be known as Section 25B, to follow immediately
after Section 25A, as Section 25A was enacted by Chapter 749 of
the Acts of 1949 and to be under the sub-title Registration', pro-
viding for an additional day for a supplemental registration of
voters in each precinct in the City of Baltimore in the year 1950
on a day to be fixed by the Governor."
