RACCOON AND OPOSSUM.
65. No person may hunt any raccoon or opossum except
after sunset and before sunrise of any day between November
1 and the next succeeding January 31 inclusive. No person
shall hunt any raccoon or opossum between sunrise and
midnight Sunday. No person shall cut a tree for the pur-
pose of catching, killing, or dislodging a raccoon or opossum
without the consent of the owner of such tree. No person may
at any time set or otherwise use any steel trap or other similar
device to catch any raccoon or opossum.
(a) No person shall between February 1 and October 31
inclusive shake or throw out of any tree or hollow any raccoon
or opossum. Every person hunting raccoon or opossum must
have a hunters license for the current year in possession and
tag displayed on outer garment.
(b) No person may have any raccoon or opossum alive dur-
ing any closed season in his possession unless he first procures
a permit from the State Game Warden.
(e) Any raccoon which destroys a muskrat or its home in
the marsh areas of this State may be hunted or killed at any
time by the owner of said marsh or his employees only. It
shall be lawful for any owner of an impounded lake to kill
muskrats which are destroying their embankment or dam of
said lake or lakes at any time.
66. Any person or persons found guilty before any justice of
the Peace of this State of violating any provisions of Sections 64
to 66 inclusive, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10. 00) nor more than
Twenty-Five Dollars ($25. 00) for each and every offense, and
in addition to said fine shall be fined Five Dollars ($5. 00) for
each skin or animal in possession in violation of the law. All
such skins, pelts, or meats, or illegal devices found in any per-
son's possession in violation of this sub-title shall be con-
fiscated by the officer making the arrest and turned over to the
Game Warden who may dispose of same as he may deem ad-
visable for the best interest of the State.
RAISING GAME IN CAPTIVITY.
67. Any person desiring to raise and sell game birds or
game animals of any species on land or water of which he is
the bona fide owner or lessee may make application in writing
to the Game Warden of this State for a license so to do. The
Game Warden, upon receipt of a license fee of Five Dollars
($5. 00) may issue to the applicant a Breeder's License per-
