the open season for the same on the said farmlands of which
he or they are the bona fide owners, children of such owners, or
tenants or children of such tenants. The term "tenant" shall
mean a person who resides in a dwelling house on said farm
or lands and shall apply only to children of such tenants
residing on said lands.

18. DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS. The Clerks of the Circuit
Courts of the Counties and the Clerk of the Court of Common
Pleas of Baltimore City, and Agents shall on the first day of
July and on the first day of each and every month thereafter,
transmit to the Comptroller of this State all monies received
by them for licenses, and the amounts so received by the Comp-
troller shall be placed to the credit of a separate fund to be
known as "The State Game Protection Fund" and shall be
disbursed by the Comptroller from time to time on warrants
signed by the Game Warden and countersigned by a repre-
sentative of the Commission. The monies in said Fund shall
be used solely for the salaries and expenses of the Game and
Inland Fish Commission, the State Game Warden and his
subordinates, and for scientific investigation and the protec-
tion and propagation of birds, wild fowl, inland fish, and
game. The Game and Inland Fish Commission shall require
the Game Warden to file an annual account with it showing
the entire receipts and disbursements of himself and all depu-
ties and exhibit vouchers therefor and also shall require said
Game Warden to file an annual bond in the penalty of Two
Thousand Dollars ($2, 000. 00) for the faithful performance of
his duties, the cost of the bond to be paid out of the State
Game Protection Fund.

19. PENALTIES. Any person found guilty of hunting any
game protected by law without having first procured a license,
except as herein provided, or for refusing to show said license
when demanded by the Game Warden or any Deputy Game
Warden, sheriff, constable, or other officer, or person, or fail-
ing to display the license number on his back as provided by
law, or violating any of the other provisions of this sub-title,
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof, before any Justice of the Peace of the County or City
where the offense was committed, shall be fined Twenty Dol-
lars (f20. 00) for each and every offense and shall stand com-
mitted to the county jail or the Baltimore City jail until such
fine and costs are paid but such imprisonment shall not exceed
twenty days for each offense. Any person convicted for hunt-
ing without proper license and tag in possession while hunt-
ing, or using any other person's license or tag, said license and
tag shall be confiscated and the person upon whom it was
