county whose term of office shall begin at the same time as
that of the Treasurer, and whose duties shall be such as may
be assigned to him by the Treasurer. The Treasurer and
Assistant Treasurer and their successors in office shall each
execute to the State of Maryland two bonds, one in such
amount as shall be prescribed by the State Comptroller, in
accordance with the Public General Laws of the State, con-
ditioned for the proper collection and payment to the State
Treasurer of all State taxes placed in their hands and the
faithful performance of all other duties devolving upon them,
and another of thirty thousand dollars each, conditioned for
the proper collection and disbursement of all moneys coming
into their hands for the county and the faithful performance
of other duties devolving upon them; said bonds to be ap-
proved, as the bonds of the sheriff of the respective counties
of this State are approved, and recorded. in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Cecil County; and the said
Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, before they shall enter
upon the duties of their said officers shall take and subscribe
before said clerk the oath prescribed by Section 6 of Article 1
of the Constitution of the State.

159. The county treasurer of Cecil County for the dis-
charge of the duties of his office shall receive an annual salary
of Three Thousand Dollars, and the assistant treasurer of
Cecil County, for the discharge of the duties of his office shall
receive an annual salary of Two Thousand Dollars, to be paid
by the County Commissioners of said County in equal monthly
installments.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 707.
(House Bill 364)

AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 39 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fish and
Fisheries", sub-title "Crabs", said new sections to be known
as Sections 110A and HOB, and to follow immediately after
Section 110 of said Article, authorizing the Commission of
Tidewater Fisheries to make rules and regulations as to the
taking or catching of crabs.
