and Clams", denning Tenth's and Porpoise Points, in Som-
erset County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 267 of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset
County", sub-title "Oysters and Clams", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
267. It shall not be lawful for any person to employ any
canoe, boat or vessel in catching or taking oysters with scoop,
scrape, drag or dredge or any similar instrument, either on
public or private beds within the waters of the Great Anna-
messex River, in Somerset County, east of a straight line from
Tenth's Point, on the south side of said river, to Porpoise
Point, on the north side of said river; for the purposes of this
section, Tenth's Point shall be considered to be the easterly
point of Marsh at entrance into small creek shown on pub-
lished chart 7 of the Maryland Oyster Survey of 1907 at ap-
proximate position, latitude 38° 2' 19. 20" and longitude 75°
51' 39. 47"; and Porpoise Point shall be considered to be the
most westerly point of Marsh westerly of United States Coast
and Geodetic Survey Triangulation Station "Has"; provided,
however, that nothing in this section shall prevent the taking
of crabs.
SEC. 2. And 'be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section
(18) of Section 6 of Chapter 756 of the Acts of 1939, entitled
"An Act to authorize the creation of a State debt in the
aggregate amount of Pour Million, One Hundred and Thirty
Thousand Dollars (f4, 130, 000. 00), the proceeds thereof to
be used for certain necessary building construction and
equipment purposes for the State, for the acquisition of
Morgan College or the establishment of a State College for
Negroes, and for forestry and other purposes, and to pro-
vide generally for the issue and sale of Certificates of In-
debtedness evidencing such loan. " providing that the balance
