by the County at the end of each and every month after the
qualification of said judges. The judges of the Orphans' Court
of Baltimore City shall be paid by the City of Baltimore at the
end of each and every month and the sessions of said Orphans'
Court of Baltimore City shall continue from 11 A. M. to 3
P. M., if necessary, for the transaction of business of the
court, and provided that all provisions of any Public General
Law inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby re-
pealed, but the increased compensation of Judges of the
Orphans' Court of Wicomico County shall not apply to the
present Judges.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

(House Bill 756)
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Allegany
County to establish and maintain in Allegany County an
institution to be known as The Juvenile County Home for
the purpose of the detention, maintaining and supporting
of incorrigible, homeless and uncared for minors, residents
of Allegany County. To authorize the control and manage-
ment of the same by a Board of Directors and by the County
Commissioners of Allegany County. To authorize the
County Commissioners of Allegany County to borrow money
and to issue therefor coupon bonds in an amount not ex-
ceeding One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100, 000. 00) for
the purpose of acquiring, erecting and equipping said Juve-
nile County Home. To provide for an annual levy upon the
assessable property of Allegany County by the County Con>
missioners for the purpose of maintaining said Home and
to pay the principal and interest of said Bonds when due.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary^
land? That (A) The Board of County Commissioners of Alle-
gany County are hereby authorized and empowered at any time
hereafter to create and maintain in Allegany County an insti-
tution to be known as The Juvenile County Home, and in
connection therewith they shall have the power and authority
to purchase the necessary lands, to contract for, construct and
equip the necessary building or buildings to be used for the
purpose of the detention, maintaining and supporting of incor-
