donations, all lost, abandoned, unclaimed or stolen money,
which may remain in the possession of said Department for
the space of three years and for which there shall be no lawful
claimant, and net proceeds of sales of unclaimed property in
the custody of said Department.
For the purpose of determining the ten years of continuous
meritorious service rendered by any of the employees of said
Department, transferred thereto from the Commissioner of
Motor Vehicles, or by any of the license examiners of the
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, the years of service shall in-
clude those rendered to said Commissioner and/or to said
Department as the case may be.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be
construed to apply to any and all lost, abandoned, unclaimed
or stolen money and other personal property of any kind which
has heretofore or may hereafter come into the possession of
the Department of Maryland State Police.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 637.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 22 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Post Mortem Exam-
iners", said new section to be known as Section 9 and to
follow immediately after Section 8 of said Article, relating
to the time for performing autopsies and releasing bodies
taken charge of by Medical Examiners, and to the furnish-
ing of death certificates in connection with such bodies.
