lost their lives in the last World War.

WHEREAS,, the provisions of Section 496 of Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) have
been fully executed, and there is no further necessity for the
authority contained in said section, therefore:

SECTION 1. Be It enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 496 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County77,
sub-title "Memorial77, be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 615.
(House Bill 675)

AN ACT to repeal Section 493 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Balti-
more County7', sub-title "Mechanics' Lien", providing for
mechanics' liens for work done and materials provided on
buildings erected or repaired.

WHEREAS, Section 493 of Article 3 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland duplicates the provisions of Section 1
of Article 63 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion) and is properly codified with the general laws of the
State, rather than as a local law, therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 493 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County77,
sub-title "Mechanics7 Lien77, be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
