CHAPTER 613.
(House Bill 672)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 64-80, both inclusive, of Article 17
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Boulevard
Heights", and to enact in lieu thereof Sections 64, 65, 66, 67,
68, 69, 70, 70A, 70B, 70C, 70D, 70E, 70F, 70G, 71, 72, 73, 74,
75, 76, 77, 78 and 79 to said Article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 64-80, both inclusive, of Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County77, sub-title "Boulevard Heights77, be
and they are hereby repealed; and that Sections 64, 65, 66, 67,
68, 69, 70, 70A, 70B, 70C, 70D, 70E, 70F, 70G, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75,
76, 77, 78 and 79, be, and they are hereby enacted in lieu
thereof, and to read as follows:
64. The citizens of the communities generally heretofore
known as Boulevard Heights, Bradbury Heights, Coral Hills,
and Dillon Park in Prince George's County, are hereby incor-
porated into a body politic to be known by the name of "Lans-
dale", and shall have perpetual succession, sue and be sued,
have and use a common seal, and may purchase and hold or
dispose of real and personal property for the benefit of the
said municipal corporation of Lansdale.
65. The boundaries of said town shall be as is determined by
vote cast by the citizens of the town of Boulevard Heights,
Bradbury Heights, Coral Hills and Dillon Park and adjacent
area, but all within the area starting at a point beginning at
the intersection of Southern Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue
extended thence South with East line of Pennsylvania Avenue
extended to Cedar Hill, thence Easterly along North line of
Cedar Hill property, thence Southerly following the boundary
line of the Cedar Hill property and the Landon tract to Oxon
Bun, thence following Oxon Bun in an Easterly direction to
Massachusetts Avenue in the sub-division of Dupont Heights,
thence crossing Massachusetts Avenue to the J. G. Reilly tract,
thence following the Southerly boundary of the Reilly tract
to the Marlboro State Road, thence along the West Side of
Marlboro State Road in a Northwesterly direction to Southern
Avenue, thence along Southern Avenue to the beginning point.
66. The corporate powers of said Town shall be vested
in and shall be exercised by, and that the town shall be gov-
erned by a Mayor and Town Council. Said Mayor shall be
