George's County Police Force, in all respects as if they had
originally been appointed under the provisions of said Chap-
ter 50 of the Acts of 1937, amendments thereto, and other laws
affecting the said Police Force. The aforesaid desk clerks
shall have the same powers and duties as police officers and
conservators of the peace as other members of the Prince
George's County Police Force, and shall receive the same
allowances for uniforms as other members of the Police Force.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That each of the members
of the Prince George's County Police Force shall at all times,
while on duty, unless otherwise ordered by the Chief of Police,
wear such uniforms and equipment as may be prescribed by
the Police Commissioners of Prince George's County, Mary-
land. It shall be a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to
exceed f25. 00 for any person not a member of the Prince
George's County Police Force to wear the duly prescribed
uniform of the Prince George's County Police Force, or any
distinctive part of such uniform, or a uniform any part of which
is similar to a distinctive part of the duly prescribed uniform
of the Prince George's County Police Force.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date
of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
174C of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title
"Budget", as said section was enacted by Chapter 185 of
the Acts of 1939, providing for the inclusion in the Budget
of certain sums each year for election expenses and for
future capital improvements.
SECTION 1. Be. it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 174C of Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel
