exceed twenty cents on the one hundred dollars, to be collected
as other taxes are collected in said town,

SEC. 4. And lye it further enacted, That this Act is hereby;
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by thre6-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date
of its passage. ^

CHAPTER 565.
(House Bill 574)

AN ACT to add three new sections to Article 5 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Calvert County", to be under a new sub-title "Trailers",
said new section to be known as Sections 313A, 313B and
313C, and to follow immediately after Section 313 of said"
Article, relating to the licensing of trailers in Calvert
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That three new sections be and they are hereby added
to Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", to be under a n^w
sub-title "Trailers", said new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 313A, 313B and 313C, to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 313 of said Article, and to read as follows: *

313A. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora, -;
tion to maintain or operate in Calvert County, any trailer used
or to be used as the habitation or living quarters of any person
or persons without having secured a license for each such trail-
er from the County Commissioners for the maintenance there-;
of. The license fee for each such trailer shall be Three Dollars
($3. 00) for each calendar month or fractional part thereof
but the owner or lessee thereof may, on the payment of Thirty
Dollars ($30. 00), secure a license for twelve months, or, on.
the payment of Fifteen Dollars ($15. 00), secure a license for?
six months. i <

313B. If the owner, operator or lessee of a trailer fails to,
