group entertainment held under school, orphanage or church
auspices, or in the case of persons in the uniform of the Armed
Forces of the United States who are admitted free or at re-
duced rates to any place of amusement, entertainment, recrea-
tion or sport, during the period of the present war and six
months thereafter.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 752
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County
(1939 Edition), title "Notices—Legal", relating to the publi-
cation of legal notices by the officials of Montgomery County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 752 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1939 Edition), title "Notices—Legal",
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, so as to read as follows:
752. Any officer, official or officials of Montgomery County
required by law to publish any notice, return, report, schedule,
sample ballot, list of delinquent taxpayers or any official publi-
cation whatsoever shall make such publication in not more than
two newspapers regarded as Montgomery County newspapers
of general circulation in Montgomery County; provided, how-
ever, and notwithstanding the provision of any law to the
contrary the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery
County may in their discretion authorize and direct such publi-
cation as set out by this section or any part of such publication
in more than two newspapers that are published in Mont-
gomery County, or any portion of Montgomery County and that
the payment for such publication hereby authorized may be
made from any fund which the Board of County Commissioners
of Montgomery County may direct.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any and all other
laws or parts of laws, whether General or Local, inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act, be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
