pecuniary or other interest in any phase of the manufacture,
sale or distribution of any alcoholic beverages.

In Cecil County the members of the Board of County Com-
missioners shall each receive, in addition to their present
salaries. Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) per annum for their
services in acting as members of the Board of License Com-
missioners of said county.

In Dorchester County the members of the Board of County
Commissioners shall each receive, in addition to their present
salaries, One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) per annum for their
services in acting as members of the Board of License Com-
missioners of said county.

In Carroll County each of the members of the Board of
County Commissioners shall receive, in addition to their pres-
ent salaries, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) per
annum for. their services in acting as members of the Board of
License Commissioners.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER: 514.

(House Bill 388)

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Bal-
timore County", sub-title "Health and Sanitation", said
new section to be known as Section 306B and to follow
immediately after Section 306A of said Article, prohibiting
the sweeping, brushing, casting, placing or laying in any
manner of rubbish, refuse, filth and dirt in any street, lane,
road, alley or public highway in Baltimore County and pro-
viding penalties for violation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land., That one new section be, and it is hereby, added to
Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Health and
Sanitation", said new section to be known as Section 306B
and to follow immediately after Section 306A of said Article,
and to read as follows:

306B. No person or persons shall in any manner sweep,
brush, cast, place or lay any refuse, filth, dirt, trash, shavings*
