upon applying therefor and paying the required fee; provided
further that any person who is lawfully engaged in business
as a real estate broker at the time of going into the Armed
Services of the country shall not at any future time be re-
quired to pass the aforesaid examination in order to obtain a
license under this sub-title.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 493.
(House Bill 208)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Section 57
of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Foxes",
relating to the shooting, hunting, trapping and buying and
selling of foxes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 57 of said Article 3 of said Code be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

57. It shall be unlawful to trap, sell, buy or expose for
sale any fox or fox hide in Baltimore County, and it shall be
unlawful to transport any fox or fox hide from any place in
Baltimore County to any place without Baltimore County,
and possession of any fox or fox hide shall be prima facie evi-
dence of a violation of this section, but nothing in this Act
shall be construed as to prevent the killing of foxes at any
time by any person while they are in pursuit or in the act of
killing or carrying away his, her or their poultry.

The provisions of this sub-title shall not apply to election
districts 1, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of Baltimore County but it
shall be lawful to trap, shoot at, shoot or kill any fox in said
election districts.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
