and such other damages as shall be incurred and sustained by
reason of said appeal; the aforesaid bond shall not affect in
any manner the right of the lessor to proceed against said
tenant, assignee or under tenant for any and all rents that
may become due and payable to the lessor after the rendition
of said judgment.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That if any section, sub-
section or provision of this Act is held invalid for any reason,
such invalidity shall not in any way affect any other section,
sub-section or provision of this Act, and the remainder of this
Act shall continue in full force and effect as if such invalid
section, sub-section or provision had not been included.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts of any public general or public local laws inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3A. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of
Sections 752A, 752B, 752C, 752D, 752E and 752F of this Act
shall continue in effect only during the term of the present
National War Emergency as may be fixed by proclamation
by the President of the United States or the Congress of the
United States.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the immedi-
ate preservation of the public health and safety, and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the Gen-
eral Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.
