SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Treasurer of Charles County be and he is hereby
authorized and directed, after establishing a reserve fund of
One Thousand Dollars (f 1, 000. 00) for the payment of losses
due to dogs, and Five Hundred Dollars (f'500. 00) as additional
funds for the County Extension Service, to transfer the balance
of any money now in his hands received from dog licenses to
the general funds of said County. At the end of each fiscal
year, the said County Treasurer shall transfer all of the moneys
received by him from dog licenses during said year, except the
reserve fund of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1, 500. 00) for the
purposes aforesaid, to the general funds of said County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 55.
(Senate Bill 7)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 74 to 82 inclusive, of Article 89B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"State Roads", sub-title "Bear Creek Bridge. "
WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections have never been
availed of and are no longer necessary; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 74 to 82, inclusive, of Article 89B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "State
Roads", sub-title "Bear Creek Bridge", be and they are hereby
repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
