HERBERT R. O'CONOR, GOVERNOR. 43

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new Section is hereby added to Article 13 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County, title, "Harford
County", sub-title "Deeds", to follow Section 245A, as said
Section was enacted by Chapter 22 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, 1939, and codified in Higinbothom's
Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County, as Section 221,
said new Section to follow said Section 221, to be known as
Section 221A, and to read as follows:

221A. Whenever a taxpayer is assessed with real estate in
any one of the several Election Districts in Harford County,
and is also assessed with personal property used in connection
with or for the operation, use or enjoyment of said real estate,
and deeds away said real estate without making mention of
said personal property, the office of the County Commissioners
shall not transfer said real estate, as provided in the preceding
Section, without and until accurate information (under oath
if required) is furnished said office as to the disposition made
of said personal property and who the present owner thereof is.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be, an emergency law and necessary for the immedi-
ate preservation of the public health and safety, and having
been passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths
of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of
its passage.

(House Bill 142)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-section
B of Section 5 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages, " sub-title
"Beer and Light Wine Licenses, " decreasing the license fee
for Class B license in Wicomico County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sub-section B of Section 5 of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Alcoholic
Beverages", sub-title "Beer and Light Wine Licenses", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
