SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 338 and 339 of Article 12 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Garrett County", sub-title "Livery Stables", be and
they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

(House Bill 18)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 15
and 16 of Article 1A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Aeronautics", sub-title "Uniform Air
Licensing Act", providing for a Secretary in place of a Secre-
tary-Treasurer, relating to the number of members of the
State Aviation Commission, its powers and the appointment
of an Attorney for said Commission.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land., That Sections 15 and 16 of Article 1A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Aeronautics7', sub-
title "Uniform Air Licensing Act", be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
15. STATE AVIATION COMMISSION. There is hereby created
a State Aviation Commission consisting of five members, to be
appointed by the Governor, for a term of three years, the
members of said Commission to serve without compensation.
One member shall be Chairman.
The Commission shall have power to procure and use an
official seal. The said Commission shall report in writing to the
Governor on or before December 1st each year and said report
shall contain a summary of its proceedings during the year, a
detailed and itemized statement of all the revenues and ex-
penditures made by or in the behalf of the Commission, such
other information as the Commission may deem necessary or
useful and any additional information which may be requested
by the Governor.
16. For the purpose of staggering the terms of office of the
