4. The Treasurer of Prince George's County Volunteer Fire
Association shall give bond to the County Commissioners of
Prince George's County in the penal sum of Twenty-eight
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($28, 200. 00) for the faithful
performance of his duties hereunder.
SEC. 2. And J)e it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 373.
(House Bill 497)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 14 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "How-
ard County", sub-title "State's Attorney", said new section
to be known as Section 296A, and to follow immediately
after Section 296 of said Article, providing for an allowance
for office expenses to the State's Attorney for Howard
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Howard County", sub-title "State's Attorney",
said new section to be known as Section 296A, to follow imme-
diately after Section 296 of said Article, and to read as
follows:
296A. The State's Attorney shall receive, in addition to his
annual salary and any other payments and allowances author-
ized by law, accounting from June 1, 1943, the annual sum of
Three Hundred Dollars ($300. 00), payable in quarterly install-
ments of Seventy-five Dollars (f75. 00) each, to defray the ex-
penses of maintaining an office, and the County Commissioners
shall levy annually the sum of Three Hundred Dollars
($300. 00) for this purpose.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
