Whereas, there is now a state bridge over the Susque-
hanna River, between Harford and Cecil Counties, thereby
making the provisions of these sections unnecessary; there-
fore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 50-54, inclusive, of Article 8 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Cecil County", sub-title "Bridge over Sus-
quehanna River, be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
201A of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County'V
sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Stenographers", as
enacted by Chapter 176 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1941, providing for the appointment and
increasing the compensation of stenographers by the Judges
of the Seventh Judicial Circuit resident in Prince George's
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 201A of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Stenograph-
ers", as enacted by Chapter 176 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1941 be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
201A. Each of the Judges of the Seventh Judicial Circuit
resident in Prince George's County is hereby authorized to ap-
point a stenographer for his official use. Each of said stenog-
raphers shall hold his or her position at the pleasure of the
Judge by whom he or she is appointed, and shall receive com-
pensation therefor at a rate not exceeding fifteen hundred
dollars ($1, 500. 00) per annum. Such compensation shall be
levied annually by the County Commissioners of said county,
and shall be paid as are the salaries of other county employees,
