370 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 341

Whereas, the provisions of these sections are no longer
applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 1-6, inclusive, of Article 8 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Cecil County", sub-title "Agricultural Society of
Cecil County", be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved March 31, 1943.

CHAPTER 340.
(Senate Bill 312)

AN ACT to repeal Section 45 of Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Cecil County", sub-title "Bills of Exchange and Prom-
issory Notes", making Saturday a legal half holiday in
Cecil County.

Whereas, Section 11 of Article 13 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), makes Saturday a legal half
holiday throughout the State, with the exception of a few
Counties only, thereby making the above-mentioned sec-
tion unecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 45 of the Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Cecil County", sub-title "Bills of Exchange and Promis-
sory Notes", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved March 31, 1943.
