sioners to the Treasurer of the Battery Park Citizens'
Association, Incorporated, to be used by said association
exclusively for the acquisition, maintenance, operation and
development of the Battery Park Community House and
grounds, provided that thirty days prior to each annual
levy by the said County Commissioners, the Treasurer of
the said Battery Park Citizens' Association, Incorporated,
shall submit to the said County Commissioners in writing
a certified copy of the annual budget duly adopted at a legal
meeting called for the stated purpose by the said associa-
tion.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 295.
(Senate Bill 254)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
275 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Testamentary Law, " sub-title
"Register of Wills, " providing that the bonds executed
by registers of wills shall be filed with the Comptroller.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 275 of Article 93 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Testamentary
Law, " sub-title "Register of Wills, " be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
275. It shall be the duty of each register of wills to
transmit to the Comptroller, on the first Monday of
October next after the execution of said bond, a certified
copy thereof.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
