SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 543 of Article A of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Firemen's Associa-
tion", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 258.
(Senate Bill 206)

AN ACT to repeal Section 823 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Mariners and
Charitable Marine Society of Baltimore", relating to the
estates of mariners sailing from Baltimore City and
dying intestate.

Whereas, the provisions of this section are no longer
applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 823 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Mariners and Char-
itable Marine Society of Baltimore", be and it is hereby
repealed.
