the said salary to be paid as provided in Section 3 of Article 33
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1939 Edition, and said
Supervisors of Elections for Howard County shall not receive
any other compensation, emolument, payment, repayment or
recompense, of any kind whatsoever, for the services rendered
by said Supervisors under the present or future provisions of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 242.
(House Bill 392)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 254 to 259, inclusive, of Article 14
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Howard County", sub-title "Roads", relating to
the opening and control of roads in Howard County.

WHEREAS,, the provisions of these sections are not necessary
since they are more completely covered in Article 25 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition); therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 254 to 259, inclusive, of Article 14 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
'"Howard County", sub-title "Roads", be and they are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
