of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Testamentary Law", sub-
title "Orphans' Court", as said section was enacted by Chapter
806 of the Acts of 1941, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

243A. When the assets of a decedent's estate consist only of
a motor vehicle the retail value of which as listed in the current
Red Book of the National Used Car Market Report or a similar
manual selected by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles does
not exceed $300. 00, said Commissioner may, upon proof satis-
factory to him that all debts and taxes owed by the decedent
have been paid, transfer the title to such motor vehicle to the
person entitled thereto and, upon application of such person,
refund the amount of license fee for the unused portion of the
year, calculated on a quarterly basis; and, in such case, no
administration of the decedent's estate need be had.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 27.
(Senate Bill 61)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 241
of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans'
Court", prescribing the conditions under which one judge
shall have power to hold court and to do any act which said
court may do.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 241 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title
"Orphans' Court", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

241. The orphans' court, unless a different time is prescribed
by the local law, shall be held in each county and the City of
Baltimore, at the usual place of holding the court of said
county or city, on the second Tuesday in every month of
February, April, June, August, October and December, and
oftener if need be, according to its own adjournment; and any
one of the judges of the said court, in the absence of the others
