Twenty-five ($25. 00) Dollars and not more than Two Hundred
and Fifty ($250. 00) Dollars, and said license fee shall be paid
to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County and
be dispersed by him for the purchase of law books for the court
library as directed by the Judges of the Circuit Court for
Montgomery County.
SEC. 2. And be It further enacted, That no person shall
practice law in Montgomery County or appear before any
court in Montgomery County until he or she shall have first
complied with the rules of practice established by the Circuit
Court for Montgomery County and until he or she has pro-
cured a license for the same whenever so required.
SEC. 3. And be It further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 27 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Crimes and
Punishments", sub-title "Sabbath Breaking", said new sec-
tions to be known respectively, as Sections 560A and 560B
and to follow immediately after Section 560 of said Article,
permitting certain sports in Frederick City on Sundays
during certain hours, and providing for a referendum there-
on.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That two new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition),
title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Sabbath Break-
ing", said new sections to be known respectively, as Sections
560A and 560B, to follow immediately after Section 560 of
said Article, and to read as follows:
56'OA. Nothing contained in Sections 560 or 576 of this
Article, shall be construed* to prohibit or render unlawful the
playing, within the corporate limits of Frederick City, Fred-
erick County, of baseball, golf, tennis, bowling, croquet, basket
ball, lacrosse, soccer, hockey or any other lawful sport by any
person or persons, or the officiating at or assisting in the con-
duct of the playing of any of said sports by any umpire, man-
