furtherance of said Article 1A in its application to said
body corporate.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members of each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect imme-
diately upon its passage.

^N ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
61 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Elections, " sub-title "Registra-
tion, " as said Section was amended by Chapter 547 of
the Acts of 1941, to correct an error.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 61 of Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Elections, " sub-
title "Registration, " as said Section was amended by Chap-
ter 547 of the Acts of 1941, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
61. In Harford County, when in the opinion of the
Supervisors of Elections it becomes necessary to rewrite
any of the registration books by virtue of the fact that said
books have become so worn or the lettered sub-divisions
thereof have become so filled with names that it is not
practicable to further use said books, the names of all
persons now registered on such registration books, except
those who are known to the Supervisors of Elections to
have moved out of the Precinct, those who are dead and
also those who have not voted at a primary, general or
special election in the six preceding calendar years, shall
be transcribed on new registration books to be provided
by the Board of Supervisors of Elections of Harford
County, with the approval and consent of the County Com-
missioners of Harford County, both as to the procurement
of the new books and the manner in which the names are
to be transcribed, subject to the provisions of this Act.
