1704 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 984

(16) For entering orders of satisfaction of judgment on
Justices' docket or judgments of the People's Court, $. 25;

(17) For recording judgments rendered by Justices of
the Peace or Judges of the People's Court of Baltimore
City, |. 50;

(18) For making a certified copy of any paper recorded
among the land or chattel records—the cost of said copy
shall not exceed the cost of the recording of the original
paper;

(19) For making one or more duplicate copy or copies—
the cost of said duplicate copy or copies shall not exceed
more than one-half of the cost of the original papers;

(20) For filing any conditional contract of sale, $1. 00;

(21) For recording any paper among the chattel records—
for each one hundred words or figures or fraction thereof,
I. 20;

(22) For administering the oath of office to any elected
or appointed official (except policemen), $. 25;

(23) For administering the oath of office to any police-
man, $. 10;

(24) For entering the original appearance of attorney
for the defendant, f. 50;

(25) For filing the original defense pleas for any de-
fendant, f. 25;

(26) For the attendance of the Clerk or his deputy in
Court upon the hearing of any motion before the Court,

f. 50;

(27) For the removal of any writ, previously issued,
f. 50;

(28) For issuing any writ of fieri facias on judgment re
covered before any Justice of the Peace or Judge of the
People's Court, $2. 50;

(29) For issuing any writ of fieri facias on any judgment
of the Court, $2. 50;

(30) For issuing any writ of habere facias possessionem,
|3. 00;

(31) For issuing any writ of retorno habendo, $2. 00;

(32) For issuing any attachment for contempt, $2. 00;

(33) For issuing a writ of mandamus, $2. 00;
