"Clerks of Court", be and the same is hereby repealed, and
that a new section be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof,
said new section to be known as Section 12, to follow imme-
diately after Section 11 of said Article, and to read as follows:

12. (A) The Clerks of the various Law Courts of this
State may charge and shall be entitled to receive the fees
hereinafter set forth for the performance of their duties, as
follows:

(1) For filing any paper, required to be filed and enter-
ing the same on the docket of the Court, $. 25;

(2) For docket entry of any judgment or order, $. 50;

(3) For affixing the seal to every paper when required,
except writs and process, f. 10;

(4) For issuing writs of process, summons and respon-
dendum, except the original writ issued at the time of
filing suit, $. 50;

(5) For issuing subpoenas for witnesses, for each wit-
ness, |. 25;

(6) For issuing every subpoena duces tecum, f. 25;

(7) For short copy of judgment under seal, f. 50;

(8) For certified copy of docket entries under seal, f 1. 00;

(9) For certificate under seal of the qualifications of any
public official except Justices of the Peace and Notaries
Public, |. 25;

(10) For certificates under seal of the qualification of
any Justice of the Peace or Notary Public, f. 25;

(11) For recording any paper required by law to be re-
corded, except papers to be recorded in the Land or Chattel
Records—for each one hundred words or figures or fraction
thereof, $. 15;

(12) For drawing, empaneling and swearing a jury, $2. 00;

(13) For making alphabets and lists of transfers of
property for each transfer or index, f. 25;

(14) For recording and extracting all deeds, mortgages
or other papers required to be extracted—for each one hun-
dred words or figures or fraction thereof, $. 15;

(15) For copying surveyors' photos or recording the
same—the same per diem allowed surveyors for making
them;
