making it unlawful to sell Jamaica ginger, picnic ginger,
etc., in Somerset County.

WHEREAS1, the general laws of the State now prohibit
the sale of the more harmful drugs, except on prescrip-
tion, thereby making these local laws unnecessary; there-
fore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 168-173 of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset
County", sub-title "Drugs", be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal Section 183 of Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County, " sub-title "Elections, " said. sections
relating to the oath to be taken by the Judges and Clerks
of Elections in Somerset County.

Whereas^ Section 12 of Article 33 of the State Code seems
to cover this subject, thereby making this section unneces-
sary, therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 183 of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County, "
sub-title "Elections, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
