HERBERT R. O'CONOR, GOVERNOR. 1603

"Prince George's County", sub-title "Landlord and Ten-
ant", said section making advances by the landlord a
lien on the crops of the tenant.

WHEREAS, The provisions of Article 53 of the Annotated
Code (1939 Edition), and especially Section 25 of said
Article, seem to cover the provisions of this section; there-
fore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 597 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Landlord and Tenant", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30, 1943.

CHAPTER 930.
(Senate Bill 571)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 570-596, inclusive, of Article 17
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Jus-
tices of the Peace", said sections relating to Justices of
the Peace for the several Election Districts of Prince
George's County, and their jurisdiction.

WHEREAS, The general laws of the State relating to Jus-
tices of the Peace, and particularly the Act creating the
Trial Magistrates' System, have probably superseded these
sections; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 570-596, inclusive, of Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace",
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30, 1943.
