(Senate Bill 558)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 258-260, inclusive, of Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition, ), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Con-
stables", said sections relating to the appointment of
Constables in the several Election Districts of Prince
George's County.

WHEREAS, The Act establishing the Trial Magistrates'
System has provisions relating to Constables, which seem
to make unnecessary the provisions of these sections;
therefore

SECTION 1. Bo it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 258-260, inclusive, of Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Constables", be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
93 of Article 52 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial
Magistrate System", to increase the number of Justices
of the Peace in Prince George's County, and to give them
power and jurisdiction in each election district in said
County.
