license, which shall be in such form as the Taxicab Bureau
may direct and shall at all times be in the driver's possession
when operating a taxicab. Any licensee who defaces, re-
moves or obliterates any official entry made upon the license
shall be punished by the suspension or revocation of the
license as hereafter provided. Drivers' licenses shall be
valid to and including the thirtieth day of April next suc-
ceeding the date of issuance and will then lapse unless
renewed.

52. There shall be delivered to each licensed driver a
badge of such form and style as the Taxicab Bureau may
prescribe, with the license number thereon, which must be
constantly and conspicuously displayed on the outside of
the driver's coat when engaged in operating a taxicab.

53. The Taxicab Bureau may renew a driver's license,
from year to year, by appropriate endorsement thereon.
A driver in applying for a renewal of license shall make
such application, upon a form to be furnished by the Taxi-
cab Bureau entitled "Application for Renewal of License",
which shall be filled out with the full name and address of
the applicant, together with a statement of the date upon
which the original license was granted and the number
thereof.

54. The following license fees shall be paid by the appli-
cant: for each original license, $2. 00; for each renewal
thereof, $1. 00. Payment shall be made to the Taxicab Bu-
reau, to be paid into the Town Treasury.

55. There shall be kept in the Taxicab Bureau a com-
plete record of each license issued to a driver, and of all
renewals, suspensions and revocations thereof, which rec-
ord shall be kept on file with the original application of the
driver for a license.

56. Every licensee while driving a taxicab shall:

(a) Accept as passenger and convey where directed
any orderly person, upon request, unless previously en-
gaged or unable or forbidden by the provisions of this sub-
title or by other valid law or regulation to do so.

(b) Keep a current written record of all trips on a
form approved by the Taxicab Bureau, to be completed at
or before reaching destination.

(e) Report to the Taxicab Bureau all accidents on a
form provided by the Bureau.
