ers of Cambridge, in making the annual levies herein pro-
vided for, shall do so item by item, specifying the depart-
ments of the city for which the levy is made, and the
amount to be expended therein. They shall in the month
of March in each and every year by order noted in the
minute book, and a copy thereof served 'upon the town
clerk, treasurer and collector or any other official receiving
and collecting revenue for said city, require the said official
to make a final settlement with the town clerk, treasurer
and collector, on or before the 30th day of June following.
And the said Commissioners shall not expend any more
money in any fiscal year than is received by them from all
sources of revenue, due and owing to the said city. And
any Commissioner or Commissioners voting to authorize
such expenditure in excess of the amount levied and re-
ceived as aforesaid shall be personally responsible for the
payment of any sum or sums of money paid in excess of
the amount so levied and received.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 439)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 33 and 34 of Article 18 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title^ "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "Bridges", said
sections relating to the bridge over the Chester River
at Crumpton.
WHEREAS; the State Roads Commission has now been
directed to maintain this bridge as a State bridge, so that
the provisions of these sections are no longer necessary;
therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 33 and 34 of Article 18 of the
