Causes", said new section to be known as Section 83A, to follow
immediately after Section 83 of said Article, and to read as
follows:
83A. The magistrate for juvenile causes for Montgomery
County shall receive an annual salary of Twenty-four Hundred
Dollars ($2, 400. 00), payable monthly by the County Commis-
sioners of said county, and he shall have the authority and
power to appoint the clerks, probation officers and stenograph^
ers necessary for the work of his office, and fix the compensation
of such employees, which compensation shall be levied and
paid by the County Commissioners of Montgomery County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and having
been passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths
(3/5) of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

(House Bill 192)
AN ACT to declare and grant the sanction and consent of the
Legislature to the devise and bequest of Maurice Gregg, de-
ceased, to the Vestry of St. Paul's Parish in Baltimore
County, and also to the conveyance to the said Vestry of
three reversions and ground rents by M-B Incorporated.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary
land, That the consent and sanction of the Legislature be and
the same is hereby declared, given, and granted to the devise
and bequest contained in the Last Will and Testament of
Maurice Gregg, of the City of Baltimore, deceased, and the
codicil thereto, to the Vestry of St. Paul's Parish in Baltimore
County, said will having been admitted to probate by the
Orphans' Court of Baltimore City and being recorded in Wills
Liber J. H. B. No. 205, folio 341; and the consent and sanction
of the Legislature is likewise declared, given and granted to the
conveyance to the Vestry of St. Paul's Parish in Baltimore
County by M-B Incorporated of three reversions and annual
ground rents of Seventy-Eight Dollars issuing out of the prop-
erty described in said deed dated July 10, 1941, and recorded
