HERBERT R. O'CONOR, GOVERNOR. 1393

Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-
title "Circuit Court", as said section was repealed and
re-enacted by Chapter 449 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1933, providing for an addi-
tional Court Stenographer for the Circuit Court for Bal-
timore County and fixing control of said Court Ste-
nographer's salary (not exceeding $2, 500. 00 per annum)
in said Court.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 100 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Bal-
timore County", sub-title "Circuit Court", as said section
was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 449 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1933, be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
to read as follows:

Sec. 100. The Circuit Court for Baltimore County be
and it is hereby authorized to employ two (2) Court
Stenographers, who shall be sworn officers of the Court,
and in addition to the other duties provided by law, they
shall perform such stenographic and secretarial work as
the Court or any member thereof may require; and the
said stenographers so appointed shall each receive such
salary, not exceeding Twenty-five hundred ($2500. 00)
Dollars per annum, as the said Court may direct in writing
to be paid each of them by the County Commissioners in
regular monthly installments as the bailiffs of said Court
are now paid.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
'take effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 412F1 and 421-1 of Article 13
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, being
designated as Sections 422 and 425 of Higinbothom's
Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County, title
"Harford County", sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating
Drinks" and to enact in lieu thereof new sections to be
known in said Code as Sections 422 and 425, 425A, 425B,
