and provisions of this subtitle shall be entitled to a writ of
habere facias possessionem with the same force and effect as if
such person had acquired the property by virtue of a mortgage
foreclosure.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That if any provision of
this Act, or the applicability thereof to any person or circum-
stances, is held invalid, the remainder of this Act and the
applicability thereof and of such provisions to other persons
or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and parts
of Acts whether Public General or Public Local, inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act, be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency; but all laws re-
pealed by this subtitle shall nevertheless remain in force in
respect to any and all tax sales made or instituted prior to the
effective date of this Act. Any and all tax sales made or insti-
tuted after the effective date of this Act shall be made only in
accordance with the provisions hereof; provided that this Act
shall not refer to Allegany County, Harford County and Wor-
cester County nor affect the provisions of Articles 1, 13 an$
24, respectively, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted. That the provisions of this
Act shall apply to all taxes which are in arrears at the time
this Act takes effect, notwithstanding the fact that such taxes
were levied prior to the effective date of this Act.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on December 31, 1943.

AN ACT to add three new sub-sections to Section 15 of Article
58A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition),
title "Loans—Petty", said new sub-sections to be known as
sub-sections (d), (e) and (f) and to follow immediately after
Sub-section (e) of said section, relating to contracts for
loans and insurance policies which may be required by the
Licensee in connection with said contracts.
