SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 411 and 413 of Article 13 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford
County", sub-title "Landings", be and the same are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

Approved April 15, 1941.

CHAPTER 79.
(Senate Bill 205)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 235, 236 and 237 of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline
County", sub-title "Fire Companies", as said sections
were amended by Chapter 174 of the Acts of 1931, in-
creasing the levy for fire companies in Caroline County
and including the Marydel Volunteer Fire Company In-
corporated among the companies to receive payments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 235, 236 and 237 of Article 6 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Caroline County", sub-title "Fire Companies", as
said sections were amended by Chapter 174 of the Acts
of 1931, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

235. The County Commissioners of Caroline County
are hereby authorized and empowered to pay annually an
amount not exceeding six thousand dollars ($6, 000) to the
several volunteer fire companies so long as said fire com-
panies remain active bodies, and active fire fighting organi-
zations for their benefit, said sum of money to be used by
the respective fire companies for the purchase, repair or
maintenance of fire fighting equipment.

236. Said payment shall be made on the first day of
September in each and every year by the County Commis-
sioners of Caroline County, and it shall be distributed in
equal proportions to the six following fire companies
of Caroline County, viz: The Denton Volunteer Fire Com-
pany, of Denton, Maryland; The Federalsburg Volunteer
