CHAPTER 560.
(Senate Bill 455)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 165-167 of Article 6 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Caroline County", sub-title "Drovers", said sec-
tions providing that drovers driving cattle through
Caroline County shall have every cattle or sheep marked
with red paint or tar on their forehead.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 165-167 of Article 6 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition, ), title
"Caroline County", sub-title "Drovers", be and they are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1941.

Approved April 28, 1941.

CHAPTER 561.
(Senate Bill 456)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
10 of Article 44A of the Annotated Code of the Public
General Laws of Maryland (Flack's Edition, 1939), title
"Housing Authorities", pertaining to rentals and tenant
selection for housing projects of housing authorities.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 10 of Article 44A of the Annotated
Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland, Flack's
Edition, 1939, title "Housing Authorities", be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

10. In the operation or management of housing projects
an authority shall at all times observe the following du-
ties with respect to rentals and tenant selection: (a) It
may rent or lease the dwelling accommodations therein
only to persons of low income, (b) It may rent or lease
the dwelling accommodations therein only at rentals
within the financial reach of such persons of low income.
(c) It may rent or lease to a tenant dwelling accommo-
