Attorney General as a member of the Commission having
charge of the department.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Article 22 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Post Mortem Examiners", be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
1. The Department of Post Mortem Examiners is hereby
created and established. The head of said Department shall
be a Commission, consisting of the Professor of Pathology of
the University of Maryland, the Professor of Pathology of the
Johns Hopkins University, the Director of Health of the State
of Maryland, the Commissioner of Health of Baltimore City
and the Superintendent of Maryland State Police. The mem-
bers of said Commission shall serve without compensation and
shall select one of its members as Chairman, and one as Vice-
Chairman, who shall act as Chairman in the absence or inabil-
ity of the Chairman.
SEC. 2. And ~be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1
of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Health", sub-title "State Board of Health",
eliminating the Attorney General as a member of the State
Board of Health.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "State
Board of Health", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
1. The State Board of Health shall consist of eight mem-
bers as follows: one shall be an experienced civil engineer,
one shall be an experienced certified pharmacist, one shall be
an experienced doctor of dental surgery, and three shall be
experienced physicians, all to be appointed by the Governor.
