SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That Sections 5,
6 and 7 of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), be and they are hereby repealed; where-
ever the words "Conservation Commission" or "Conserva-
vation Department" occur in said Article and in Article
72 of the Code, as they are now enacted, or in any amend-
ments thereto enacted at the 1941 session of the General
Assembly, the words "Commission of Tidewater Fisher-
ies" shall be substituted, except that in Section 17 of
Article 39, the words "Conservation Commission of Mary-
land" and the word "Commission" shall be changed to
read "Commission of Tidewater Fisheries or Game and
Inland Fish Commission as the case may be", and Section
3 of said Article be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:

3. In addition to any other duties imposed by law, it
shall be the duty of the Commission of Tidewater Fisheries
in tidal waters and the Game and Inland Fish Commission
in non-tidal waters, to inspect all the waters of this State
with a view to stocking the same with such food fish as
in their judgment shall be most advantageous. The
Commission of Tidewater Fisheries and the Game
and Inland Fish Commission are also author-
ized and empowered to erect and maintain suitable fish
hatcheries, ponds, and rearing stations for propagation
purposes and for stocking the streams with fresh water
fish, and to maintain such hatcheries, ponds and rearing
stations on the waters of Chesapeake Bay and its tribu-
taries for the purposes of propagation of salt water or
anadromous fish, such hatcheries to be maintained out
of any funds under the control of the Commission of Tide-
water Fisheries or Game and Inland Fish Commission, as
the case may be.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That Sections 145,
146 and 147 of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition), title "Governor-Executive and Ad-
ministrative Departments" are hereby repealed; that Sec-
tions 1, 2 and 15 of Article 39A of said Code are hereby
repealed; whenever in said Article 38A the words "State
Department of Forestry'' or 'State Board of Forestry"
occur, the words "Department of State Forests and Parks"
shall be substituted; and that three new Sections be added
to said Article 39A, to be known as Sections 1, 2 and 15
and to read as follows:
