as to the applicant's fitness for the trust to be reposed.
Before any license is issued under this Act the Board may
determine the whole number of licenses to be issued within
the County, or any particular District thereof. Each license
shall designate the place of business of the licensee. The said
Board shall determine what sales of foods, drinks or other
commodities and items, in addition to the sale of foods
cooked or prepared on the premises where the license is
exercised, shall be permitted to be charged against the sale
of beer and wine by the licensee as hereinafter prescribed,
and a list of such items shall be from time to time printed
by said Board and a copy thereof given to each licensee at
the time the license is issued. In case a change is made
in said list the Board shall immediately mail a copy of the
revised list to each licensee. No license shall be granted to
anyone who has been convicted in a Federal or State Court
of a felony, or of the violation of the laws governing the
manufacture or sale of liquor, or maintaining or operating
a bawdy house, or a place where gambling has been permit-
ted, or by the agent or representative of any such person.

Each application for license shall contain:

1st. The name and residence of the applicant and the
length of time applicant has resided within Harford
County.

2nd. The particular place for which license is desired,
designating the same by street number if practicable; if
not, by other definite description.

3rd. The name of the owner of the premises.

4th. Age, sex and color of applicant.

5th. Applicant's place of birth and if a naturalized
citizen, the date and place of birth, and when and where
naturalized.

6th. Statement as to whether or not applicant has been
convicted of a felony, or adjudged guilty of violating the
laws governing the sale of intoxicating liquors or for
gambling.

7th. Statement as to whether or not applicant has had
a license for the sale of alcoholic beverages revoked any-
where in the State of Maryland; and whether or not the
applicant is interested in the ownership of any other prem-
ises for which a license has been in force.

8th. Statement as to what other persons, if any, are
pecuniarily interested in the license applied for or in the
business to be conducted thereunder, and whether or not
any other person other than the applicant will be inter-
ested during the existence of the license.

9th. Statement as to whether or not the applicant in-
tends to superintend in person the management of the busi-
