(Senate Bill 118)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 316-319, inclusive, of Article 7
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Carroll County", sub-title "Revenue and
Taxes", said sections relating to proceedings for the
sale of property for non-payment of taxes.

WHEREAS, the general state law has superseded the local
provisions relating to the sale of property for non-payment
of taxes; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 316-319, inclusive, of Article 7
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Carroll County", sub-title "Revenue and
Taxes", be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

Approved April 15, 1941.

CHAPTER 62.
(Senate Bill 119)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 142-155, inclusive, of Article 7
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Carroll County", sub-title "Justices of
the Peace and Constables", said sections relating to Jus-
tices of the Peace and Constables in Carroll County.

WHEREAS, the general state law makes unnecessary the
provisions of the Local Code relating to Justices of the
Peace and Constables; therefore
