SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added
to Article 72 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Oysters", sub-title "Tonging", said new
section to be known as Section 7A, to follow immediately
after Section 7 of said Article, and to read as follows:
7A. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons
who have obtained a license to take or catch oysters in the
waters of Calvert County in the area between Point of
Rocks and Flag Pond known as Flag Pond Rock, with any
Implement or device other than ordinary rakes and tongs
with wooden shafts, to be used entirely by hand, and with-
out any rope or hoisting, gear whatever; the said area is
shown on Chart No. 18 of Natural Oyster Bars of Calvert
County surveyed by the Maryland Shell Fish Commission
in conjunction with the United States Coast and Geodetic
Survey and United States Bureau of Fisheries, 1908, the
said area containing approximately 680 acres.
Any person violating the provisions of this section is
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall
be fined not less than twenty dollars ($20. 00) nor more
than one hundred dollars ($100. 00).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
152 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-
title "False Pretenses", making it unlawful to secure
release from any debt or obligation for materials or
labor in the construction or repair of any building or
buildings by means of a check or other instrument with-
out providing for the payment or acceptance of same
and the same be not paid upon presentation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 152 of Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Crimes and Pun-
