be entitled to the benefits of this Article.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 434.
(House Bill 234)
AN ACT to repeal Sub-section (b) of Section 38 of Article 39
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Fish and Fisheries", sub-title "Further Regulations in
County Waters", eliminating the provision which prohibits
the catching of fish by nets in the northwest prong of the
Nanticoke River between 12 P. M. on Saturday and 12 P. M.
on Sunday.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-section (b) of Section 38 of Article 39 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fish and
Fisheries", sub-title "Further Regulations in County Waters",
be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 282)
AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 39 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fish and
Fisheries', to be under a new sub-title to be known as
"Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission", said new
sections to be known as Sections 26A to 26F, inclusive, to
follow immediately after Section 26 of said Article, author-
izing and directing the Governor to enter into a compact
with one or more States to promote the better utilization
of the marine fisheries of the Atlantic seaboard, and creat-
ing the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission, pro-
