Commissioners shall on or before the fifteenth day of
August each year, pay to the treasurers of the several fire
companies the following amounts:
Easton Fire Company.......................................... $1, 850. 00
St. Michael's Fire Company........................... 1, 000. 00
Oxford Fire Company.......................................... 900. 00
Trappe Fire Company.......................................... 750. 00
Cordova Fire Company....................................... 1, 000. 00
Tilghman Fire Company.................................... 500. 00
No part of the above funds shall be expended for any
purpose other than for the purchase, improvement, main-
tenance and operation of fire apparatus and equipment for
said fire companies. The treasurer of each fire company
shall make an annual report. to the County Commission-
ers showing for what purposes the funds were expended,
the said report to be submitted within thirty (30) days
after the close of the fiscal year.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1941.

CHAPTER 357.
(Senate Bill 377)
AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore to issue its Certificates of Indebtedness to an
amount not exceeding Thirty-two Million Dollars
($32, 000, 000. 00), for the purpose of extending, enlarg-
ing, developing and improving the municipal water sup-
ply and water system of Baltimore City, including the
construction, reconstruction and extension of transmis-
sion conduits, the increasing of the source or sources of
supply, the construction of additional storage reservoirs,
additions to and extensions of existing reservoirs, the
construction of additional filter basins or plants, addi-
tions to and extensions of existing filter basins or plants
and the doing of all things necessary, proper or expedient
to secure for said city of Baltimore a full and adequate
supply of water; and to authorize the submission of an
ordinance or ordinances for said purpose to the legal
voters of Baltimore City.
